Rick's musical career was set into motion on February 9, 1964, when he saw the Beatles on Ed Sullivan. He has been working on becoming George Harrison ever since.

Rick started guitar lessons at age eleven and joined his first band at age twelve. The rest, as they say, is history. Some of the bands that Rick has played in include The Names, Teenage Tarzan, The Bun E. Carlos Experience, and Bare Bones. While with the Names Rick made a classic Horror movie called Terror on Tour.

Winner of 8 Rami Awards with Bare Bones, including being the first band inducted into the Rami Hall of Fame, and Best Guitarist of 1992. Rick has also produced two of Ken Curtis' CDs, one of which would win the Rami for Best CD in 2003.

Rick has taught guitar for over 25 years in both private practice and at Beloit College.
